The FILMTECTM BW30-365IG membrane element has a nominal effective membrane area of ​​365 square feet and a water output of 36m3/d (9500gpd ) under standard test conditions. 
Its outer diameter is the same as other standard 8-inch elements.
BW30-365IG does not increase the membrane flux and operating pressure but increases the water production by increasing the membrane area, so it can maintain a very low fouling rate, thus maintaining long-term high water production and prolonging the life of membrane elements.
 At the same time, its operating pressure is low, which improves the economy of system operation.
 The high effective area of ​​the BW30-365IG enables newly designed RO systems to use fewer components, making the system compact and saving installation costs.

When the membrane system is ready to be put into operation, it is very important to start the reverse osmosis system correctly in order to prevent the membrane element from being damaged by excessive feed water flow or hydraulic shock. Following the correct start-up procedure can ensure that the operating parameters of the system meet the design specifications, so that the quality and quantity of the effluent from the system can reach the established design goals.

To prevent potential membrane damage during start-up, shutdown, cleaning, or other processes, avoid any sudden pressure or cross-flow flow changes on the rolling element. 
During the start-up process, we recommend that the following process be followed from the standstill state to the operational state:
1. The feed water pressure should gradually increase over a 30-60 second time frame.
2. The design cross-flow velocity value should be reached gradually within 15-20 seconds.
3. The product water within an hour should be drained away.
